EntreprAdmire April 2016 Edition

It's springtime in Nashville! I don't believe there is a more beautiful time of year in this great city. Now that spring has sprung, brides are putting the finishing touches on their wedding plans, Nashvillians are getting ready to educate themselves, and participants in Nashville Fashion Week are high-fiving for last week's job well done. Enjoy reading about the three brands I #EntreprAdmire this month.

#EntreprAdmire: A monthly blog series featuring brands and entrepreneurs that I find, well, admirable.

Music City Events

Want proof that a solid reputation doesn't happen by accident? Over ten years ago, Nashville entrepreneur Sarah Willard launched Music City Events, a full service event planning and design company. In those ten years, Music City Events has won Wedding Wire's Bride's Choice Awards, it's been featured on Ashley's Bride Guide and Martha Stewart, and Music City Events has enjoyed accolades such as Best of Nashville Wedding Planning (not to mention a Nashville 40 under 40 nomination for Ms. Willard). I completely, without a doubt, 100% #EntreprAdmire this company and its CEO for building the fabulous Music City Events brand.

TedxNashville

Did you know that the "x" in "Tedx" indicates that the event is an independently organized TED event? It gets me even more excited about the TED talks at TedxNashville. Who doesn't love the TED brand? TED talks are what the site says they are: short talks on "ideas worth spreading." Anyone with an addiction to learning can find a TED talk on...anything. How your kids might survive on Mars? Here. Where do camels really come from? Here. How to use data to create a hit television show? Right here. So get your learn on this weekend: TedxNashville is set to take place on April 15 and 16, 2016.

Nashville Fashion Alliance

The Nashville Fashion Alliance celebrates its first birthday next week in style (pun intended) in the form of a croquet tournament at the beautiful Cordelle. The celebration comes on the heels of Nashville Fashion Week, which took place just last week. What is the Nashville Fashion Alliance? It's a trade organization for those that work in the Nashville fashion industry. It's educational, and it's community-focused.  It's given Nashville-based designers a voice. In short, it's pretty rad, and I'm looking forward to watching and supporting the NFA in the next year and beyond!

That's all she wrote for April. See you in May for more brands I #EntreprAdmire!
