Though the summer solstice is still one week away, summer is in full swing in Nashville, Tennessee. This month, I #EntreprAdmire these two brands for making a splash in Nash.
WHAT. Creative Group
We’ve all driven past The Post East on Fatherland and 17th Street and thought “Dang, that is one good-looking mural.” Right? Husband and wife duo Hana and Jake are the talent and brains behind WHAT. Creative Group, the brand behind that Corners of Lockeland mural, The Post East’s signage, and many other works of art around Nashville (looking at you, Southern Grist and that really awesome Bonnaroo “Euphoria” piece at the airport). If you’re looking for a new tank or tee to wear around East Nashville this summer, look no further than WHAT.’s clothing line, recently sported by your favorite Nashville DJ on ABC’s The Bachelorette. Follow WHAT. Creative Group on Facebook and Instagram for updates and artistic eye candy.
Live On The Green
When searching for a place to wear your new WHAT. Creative Group apparel this summer, look no further than Lightening 100’s Live On The Green. What started in 2009 as a free music concert series in August has turned into a full-blown concert series AND music festival (oh, and it’s still free). Folks that would otherwise avoid downtown Nashville travel in droves for this festival — over 100,000 people made their way to the Public Square Park for Live On The Green in 2015, and such renowned acts as Band of Horses, Capital Cities, Ben Folds, The Wildfeathers, The Head and The Heart, The Weeks, Ingrid Michaelson, Moon Taxi, Passion Pit and more have graced the LOTG stage. The 2016 lineup for Live On The Green will be announced next week — June 23 — so mark your calendars.
Jump head-first into your summer and come back next month for more brands I #EntreprAdmire!
